Welcome to the CYO of Ulster County's Website!


After consultation with the leadership of the Catholic Schools and Youth Ministry, all CYO activities and all sporting events and practices have been cancelled indefinitely. 

We are continuing to monitor the situation surrounding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). It is rapidly changing and we are closely following the advice of city, state and federal health officials   We will keep you informed.

CYO Coordinators, Coaches, Parents, and Players 


The mission of CYO is to provide the highest quality programs to our young people. We are committed to provide these programs based on integrity, fair play and the right of all individuals to participate. We view our responsibility as extending far beyond the mere teaching of athletic skills. Our programs offer the opportunity to develop moral standards in all of our young people.

Thank you all for being part of the CYO community. It is through the commitment, time and effort of our volunteers and participants that we are able to achieve the CYO mission. This new Ulster County CYO League website is sponsored by the NY Archdiocese Catholic Youth Organization with the intention of enhancing the CYO experience for all involved. 


CYO @ Home Workout Series

In case you missed it ... last week we started our CYO @ Home Workout Series online to help keep you and your family active and healthy during this time of self-quarantine and social distancing.


We had a great first week of working out at home, below is a highlight of last week's workouts. All the videos are available on our YouTube Channel (search "Ulster CYO") and new videos will be released every weekday.


  • Monday: Deck of Cards - go through all 52 cards for a workout which is different every time
  • Tuesday: C.O.R.O.N.A. Acronym - total body workout using toilet paper and your own bodyweight
  • Wednesday: Tabata Format - 20 sec. exercise intervals w/ 10 sec. rest in between
  • Thursday: Ladder Format - Each set adds another exercise for this challenging workout
  • Friday: Spell your name - different exercise associated with each letter, have fun spelling the whole family's name

CYO @ Home Workout Series


As we all adjust our lifestyles to adhere to social distancing during this time, it is important to remember that Coronavirus news and resulting schedule and routine changes can cause stress and anxiety on everyone in the family. Physical activity is important to help decrease stress levels and living an active lifestyle encourages people to eat healthier.


I will be providing daily workouts, designed to be done in approximately 30 minutes using bodyweight exercises and things commonly found in your home.


At CYO, we are here to provide you with these free workouts, for your family to help keep an active and healthy lifestyle at home during this time.
